Shelden Williams added 16 points, 11 rebounds and nine blocks for the Blue Devils (13-0, 3-0 Atlantic Coast Conference).
Duke, one of four unbeaten Division I teams in the country, struggled to put away the Cavaliers (9-5, 0-4), but still won for the 20th time in 22 meetings.
Sean Singletary scored 21 points to lead the Cavaliers, who fell to 0-4 in the league for the first time since the 1998-99 season, Pete Gillen’s first year as coach.
No. 13 Boston College 73, West Virginia 53
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Jared Dudley scored 21 points, Craig Smith added 20 and No. 13 Boston College beat slumping West Virginia 73-53 Sunday for the Eagles’ eighth straight road win.
The Eagles (14-0, 3-0 Big East), one of four unbeaten teams in Division I-A, extended the best start in school history and won their first three conference games for the first time under eighth-year coach Al Skinner.
Jermaine Watson came off the bench to add 13 points for Boston College.
The Eagles, No. 1 Illinois, No. 3 Kansas and No. 5 Duke are the only undefeated teams in Division I-A.
No. 14 Washington 108, Oregon State 68
SEATTLE – Tre Simmons matched a career high with 26 points, going 6-of-7 from 3-point range, and Jamaal Williams added a career-high 24 points to help No. 14 Washington beat Oregon State 108-68 on Saturday night.
Beavers coach Jay John left the arena in an ambulance at halftime after complaining of chest pains and shortness of breath. The 46-year-old coach was examined by an on-site doctor before paramedics were called.
Wisconsin 62, No. 15 Michigan State 59
MADISON, Wis. – Kam Taylor scored the go-ahead basket with 37.3 seconds left and Wisconsin ran off the final 11 points to beat No. 15 Michigan State 62-59 Sunday, extending the longest home winning streak in Division I to 38 games.
The Badgers (12-3, 3-1 Big Ten) trailed by eight points with less than 2 minutes left, and Taylor’s basket in the lane gave them a 60-59 lead. Zach Morley added two free throws with 9.3 seconds to go, and Michigan State’s Shannon Brown missed a 3-pointer in the closing seconds.
Clayton Hanson scored 15 points and Sharif Chambliss added 14 to help Wisconsin coach Bo Ryan improve to 6-0 against Michigan State coach Tom Izzo.
