PORTLAND – Thomas Fogarty is the new chief development officer at Mercy Hospital. He will direct all fund-raising activity, both ongoing and capital campaigns.

Since 2001 he has served as the vice president for development and community affairs at Central Maine Healthcare in Lewiston, where he was the chief development officer. He was responsible for the planning, implementing and obtaining the hospital’s fiscal goals related to special events, annual giving, major and planned gifts.

Prior to his tenure at Central Maine Healthcare, Fogarty served as director of development at several highly regarded private schools throughout the Northeast and Wisconsin.

Fogarty resides in Auburn.
