PORTLAND – Howard Thomas Donahue, 68, of Evergreen Road, Bethel, died Monday, Jan. 17, in Portland.
He was born in Berlin, N.H., on Feb. 9, 1936, the son of Errold O. and Hilda J. (Jamison) Donahue and was a 1956 graduate of Gould Academy.
He was a member of the Bethel Lions Club and had been president for several years.
He had been employed at the Hanover Dowell Mill for many years and he had been a resident of Bethel his entire life.
He enjoyed doing puzzles and collecting coins and was an avid car racing fan.
He is survived by two sisters, Ruth Kichton and her husband, William, of Woburn, Mass., and Arlene Williams of Avon, N.C.
He was predeceased by his parents; and one brother, Errold Jr., in 1972.
