FRANKFORT – Maxine (Fields) Hussey, 83, the wife of Lawrence P. Hussey, passed away peacefully, Jan. 17, surrounded by her family at a Bangor healthcare facility.
She was born in Winterport, April 5, 1921, the daughter of Edwin E. and Lois (Francis) Fields.
She was a graduate of Frankfort High School Class of 1939.
She had made her home in Frankfort for more than 60 years, where she raised her family, and worked with her husband on their poultry farm.
She was a member of the Frankfort Congregational Church and the church guild for more than 60 years.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Lawrence of Frankfort, and their children, Gary W. Hussey of Frankfort, William E. Hussey and his wife, Kathy, of Peru, Marilyn A. Levesque and her husband, Paul, of Winterport; one brother, Arnold J. Fields of Massachusetts; and a sister, Frances Soucie of Brewer; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her son, John A. Hussey, on Feb. 1, 1990; and two brothers, Atwood and Ralph W. Fields.
