LEWISTON – Doris I. Goyette, 80 of Pinecrest Ave., Sabattus, died on Monday, Jan.17, at Central Maine Medical Center.

She was born in Lewiston, March 1, 1924, the daughter of Alfred and Alice Pelletier Goyette. She was educated in Webster schools and prior to her retirement was employed at Bates Mill and Cowan Mill and area shoe shops. She was also a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Parish and enjoyed gardening.

She is survived by a sister, Florence Belanger of Lewiston; a brother Robert Goyette and wife, Barbara, of Greene; and nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by two sisters, Carmen Goyette and Terry Turner; a half-sister Annette Fournier; and a half-brother Daniel Goyette.
