ROXBURY – A gathering was held on Nov. 13 to celebrate the 95th birthday of Sister Yvette Mercier, Sisters of Presentation of Mary, at the home of her niece and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Gotto, on Nov. 13.
A buffet, including a birthday cake, was served. Games were played and there was lots of catching up on family happenings.
Mercier is living in Methuen, Mass., where she leads a full life, doing good for those around her. She said she is going to retire now, but was planning events when she returned home.
