LEWISTON – Maurice A. St. Hilaire, 73, of Sabattus, died Tuesday, Jan. 18, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.
Born in Lewiston, May 3, 1931, he was the son of Eugene and Marie Mathieu St. Hilaire.
Maurice’s greatest contribution to this world was sharing his love and passion of the outdoors with his four children. He taught and showed an appreciation and respect which was exhibited daily in each of their lives.
He is survived by his best friend and wife of 54 years, Marielle Poulin St. Hilaire; four sons, Richard St. Hilaire of Watertown, N.Y., Roger St. Hilaire of Lewiston, Donald and his wife, Diane St. Hilaire, of Jackman, and Daniel and his wife, Noelle St. Hilaire, of Charlotte, N.C.; and eight grandchildren, Danielle, Aimee, Jennifer, Angela, Shawn, Alexandria, Christopher and Abigail.
He was predeceased by his parents; six brothers; and four sisters.
