PERU – The town clerk has scheduled an animal rabies clinic from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 22, at the Fire Station.

The cost will be $11. Dog licenses are due as well. Those owners who don’t license their dogs before Monday, Jan. 31, will incur an additional $15 late fee.

Nomination papers remain available for two selectmen/assessor/overseer of the poor seats; road commissioner; fire chief; and SAD 21 director.

The deadline for returning signed nomination papers is Monday, Jan. 31.

Network meeting

RUMFORD – The next Community Networking meeting will be held at noon Thursday, Jan. 27, at Scrappers DoMaine, Canal Street. Bring your own lunch. Tina Sirois, director of the River Valley Wellness Center in Mexico will speak about programs available for men, women and children.

Planning for forum

RUMFORD – The River Valley Healthy Communities’ first planning meeting for the annual community forum that will be in April is scheduled for 4 p.m. Monday, Feb. 7, at the Healthy Communities office, 94 River St.
