FARMINGTON – Tina M. Curtis, 41, a resident of East Dixfield, died unexpectedly Thursday, Jan. 20, shortly after arriving at Franklin Memorial Hospital.

She was born on Sept. 12, 1963, in Auburn, the daughter of Arthur and Joan Seymour LaMontagne. Tina attended school in the Livermore Falls school system, and received her GED in Farmington. She later earned her Certified Nurses Aide certificate in Wilton.

On June 8, 1983, Tina married Joseph Curtis III, in Livermore Falls. She had worked for Gentiva Health Services in Farmington and also as a dispatcher for the family-owned trucking company. In her spare time she enjoyed playing bingo, collecting teddy bears, and horseback riding. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph Curtis III; and their children, Heather LaMontagne and her boyfriend, Richard Pike, of Livermore Falls, Christina and Faughn Marston III, of Augusta, Rose Curtis of East Dixfield, Joseph Curtis IV, and his girlfriend, Laura Greenleaf, of Livermore Falls, Adam Curtis, Matt Curtis, and Lawrence Judd Jr., whom she raised as her own; her father, Arthur LaMontagne Sr., of Dixfield; three brothers, Roland Fortin and his wife, Louise, of Greene, Arthur LaMontagne Jr., and his wife, Debbie, of Otisfield, Dennis LaMontagne and his wife, Cindy, of Livermore; 11 grandchildren, Alyssa, Josh, Jordan, Trent, Jadea, Jacob, Paige, Jenna, Faughn, Jayden and Madison; mother and father-in-law, Shirley and Joseph Curtis Jr., of Henniker, N.H.

She was predeceased by her mother on August 2, 2003.
