On the front page of the Sun Journal, Jan. 17, there was a story about a woman who is going to Washington, D.C., just to turn her back on President Bush when he drives by during the inauguration parade. First, does she really think he will notice her at all? I wonder why anyone would go all the way there just to do that.
But this is a free country, and I think one of our greatest rights as an American citizen is to vote. If she doesn’t like our elected president, she has choices. It’s a free country.
President Bush won fair and square. She will need to get used to that.
That’s right, four more years.
