PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) – Graham Mink scored two goals and added an assist to lift the Portland Pirates to a 5-4 victory over the Providence Bruins on Friday night.

Portland goalie Maxime Ouellet was sharp in the third period as Providence outshot Portland 22-5, but only scored once, on Tomas Kurka’s goal at 14:43.

Providence forward Andy Hilbert broke a franchise record by scoring his 84th career goal at 14:32 of the first period while the Bruins were on a power play, breaking the record held by the late Sergei Zholtok.

After Kevin Dallman and Hilbert gave Providence a 2-0 lead, Portland scored the next four goals. Brian Willsie scored what proved to be the game winner on a power play at 4:38 of the second.

Shaone Morrisonn gave Portland a 4-2 lead with a power-play goal at 6:32 of the second and Owen Fussey made it 5-3 at 12:08 of the third period.
