ORONO (AP) – Mark Flavin led four Maine players in double figures with 19 points Sunday as the Black Bears built a 14-point halftime lead and then held on for a 67-60 win over Northeastern.

Ernest Turner added 18 points, Kevin Reed tallied 13 points and a game-high 13 rebounds, and Joe Campbell had 12 points for Maine (9-8, 4-4 America East).

Northeastern erased the Black Bears’ double-digit lead with a 19-4 run to start the second half.

Maine, down 46-45 with 7:59 to play, clawed back with a key 8-0 run fueled by back-to-back three-point plays by Flavin.

Northeastern (10-7, 6-2) saw its four-game winning streak snapped. Jose Juan Barea scored 18 points to lead the Huskies, but shot only 7-of-24 from the floor.
