BROWNFIELD – The Tin Mountain Conservation nature program, “Winter World of Brownfield Bog,” will be held Saturday, Jan. 29, with participants meeting at 10 a.m. at Grant’s IGA.

WEST PARIS – Basketball games at the Agnes L. Gray gym will be as follows: grades three and four, 12:45 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 29; grades five and six, 10:15 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 29.

Sunday worship

NORWAY – Worship at the Norway Universalist Church on Sunday, Jan. 30, will be led by guest speaker Jennifer Wixon. Her topic will be “What Does It Mean to Be Born Again?” Music will be led by Heather Pierson.

School campaign

PARIS – Oxford Hills Christian Academy will have a “Partners Campaign” in February and March. The goal is to expand the school family to include people in churches and community who will join in making it possible for all families to be able to enroll their children.

Many families need financial assistance to enable their children to attend the academy, according to the school. In February, letters will be mailed regarding the campaign. Two weeks later a phone call will be made to inquire about interest and commitment.

Volunteers are needed to make phone calls and training will take place. Those interested should call the academy office at 743-5970.

Charity game

NORWAY – Oxford Hills Duplicate Bridge met Jan. 21 with the following winners: first, Mimi Bell and Les Buzzell; second, Carol Curran and Nancy Farmer; third, Pete Cummings and Dick Allen. Placing first in the B section were Barbara and Paul Beegel.

The club charity game will take place at 9 a.m. Friday, Feb. 11, at the Fare Share Coop Commons, 445 Main St.

A partner is guaranteed and refreshments are served. Parking and entrance are behind the building.
