RUMFORD – The Mountain Valley High School junior varsity girls basketball game with Monmouth Academy that was scheduled for today at Mountain Valley has been canceled. The varsity game will still be held, but its start time has been moved up to 6 p.m.

Exhibit opens Feb. 4

RUMFORD – “Entering China” is the February exhibit at Pennacook Art Center, featuring photography by Ann Arbor. The show opens Friday, Feb. 4, with a reception from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Arbor and John Rosenwald will tell stories from China at 6 p.m. Arbor is a photographer, writer, storyteller and world traveler whose poetry and photographs have been published in national and international publications, including Geo, The Chicago Tribune and Avalanche. Her most recent projects include portraits of Chinese peasant painters gathered in their own homes. Pennacook Art Center is at 82 Congress St. More information may be obtained by calling 364-9972.
