LEWISTON – Juliette Potvin, 100, of 550 College St., died Tuesday, Jan. 25, at Central Maine Medical Center.

She was born in Auburn, June 24, 1904, the daughter of Eugene and Georgianna Goulet Dumais. She was educated in local schools and prior to her retirement was employed at Bates Manufacturing for more than 30 years.

She was married in 1927 to Adelard L. Potvin, who predeceased her in 1994.

She was a member of Saints Peter and Paul Parish and enjoyed knitting many different articles for the shut-ins of the parish.

She is survived by nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by three sisters, Georgianna Drouin, Dorilda Pelletier and Rita Dumais; and five brothers, Eugene, Alfred, Emile, Romeo and Lionel Dumais.

Her caretakers were Bob and Julie Begin for the past 12 years.
