WEST PARIS – Pauline F. Woodworth, 75, of West Paris died Friday, Jan. 28, at Ledgeview Living Center.

She was born in Palmyra on Nov. 21, 1929, the daughter of William and Flora Parsons Kenniston.

She graduated from Maine Central Institute in Pittsfield in 1947.

She was employed at the sardine factory in Portland in the early 1960s.

In 1965, she moved to Norway and married Ronald Woodworth.

She worked at B.E. Cole Shoe and Mecon Manufacturing before moving with her husband to Indiana in 1984. She returned to Maine in 1996.

She will be remembered for her sense of humor.

She was a member of the Paris Hill Bible Church. She drove in the Powder Puff division at Oxford Plains Speedway.

She is survived by her children, John Ames of Norway, James Ames of Nevada, and Carla Olinger of New York; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Blynn Salisbury Jr. of Maryland; and three sisters, Ruth of North Carolina, Charlene of California, and Maria Salisbury of Maryland.

She was predeceased by her husband in 1996; a son Howard; and a daughter, Paula Durgin.
