AUBURN – Rachel A. Johnson, 48, died Saturday, Jan. 15, at her home following a long illness.

She was born in Farmington on July 20, 1956, the daughter of Mariette Chabot and Glendon Cook.

She worked at a number of jobs, including home health care.

She loved shopping, going to yard sales and thrift stores and was also a computer buff.

She was a caring person who went without to make someone happy and she will be sorely missed by family and friends.

Surviving are one son, Lance Pottle of Belfast; a daughter, Amber Perry of Waterville; two brothers, Mark Cook of Livermore Falls, and Joseph A. Chabot of Lewiston; and one sister, Tania Chase of Topsham.
