AUBURN – Old School remained unbeaten a second game in the Auburn Rec Women’s Slowdown Basketball League with a 60-29 victory over Young Ones. Courtney Corbet scored 6 for the winners. Mary Pratt added 5. Elaine Keene and Pauline Veinote each netted 11 in a losing effort.

Hoop Camp evened its record at 1-1 with a 31-24 triumph over Independent Women. Katie Morin led with 14 points. Lisa Blake added 10 and Kerri Watson 2. Holly Dozois, Natalie Williams ane Sam Howard all scored 2 for Independent Women.

QP&S also entered the win column for the first time with a close 24-21 victory over Shirl’s Girls. Rochelle Plummer tallied 8 and Wanda MacLean 4 for the winners. Jenn Robitaille scored 6 for Shirl’s Girls. Kelly Brower added 5.
