MEXICO – Larry J. Giasson, 44, died Sunday, Jan. 30, at his residence on Intervale Avenue in Mexico.

He was born in Rumford, on May 12, 1960, a son of Edmund and Norma (Flaherty) Giasson, and attended Mexico schools.

He worked as a handyman and at the Mexico Car Wash, and was a Communicant of St. Theresa Church. He loved his pets, especially his dog ,”Madame.” He had many friends and was always willing to help others.

Survivors include two sisters, Barbara Giasson of Rumford, and Susan Olsen and husband, John, of Mexico; two brothers, Michael and Edmund Giasson II of Rumford; a sister-in-law, Crystal Giasson of Peru; and many nieces and nephews.
