AUBURN – A bone marrow drive wil be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 3, at American Legion Post 153, American Legion, 71 South Main St. Those who wish more information can call 333-1164. Everyone from ages 18 to 60 is eligible to be considered for a donation. They draw one small tube of blood from the arm.
Society speaker
BOWDOIN – The Bowdoin Historical Society will meet on Sunday, Feb. 6, at FHC Inc., formerly Bowdoin Central School, Main Street. A potluck lunch will be served at 1 p.m. and the meeting will start at 1:30.Al and Dorothy Smith, Bill Barr and Tommy Huston from the Lisbon Historical Society will give a program on how to set up a small-town museum.

Chapter to meet
LEWISTON – The Dr. Paul Fortier Chapter 52, Association Canado-Americaine, will meet at 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 7, in the Senior Citizens Room of the Multi-Purpose Center.
After the group’s monthly business meeting, Barbara Randall will present a travelogue on her excursion to the war beaches of Normandy in France. Refreshments will be served.

Sodality speaker
LEWISTON – The Rosary Sodality will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 8, for recitation of the Rosary in St. Patrick’s Chapel. A meeting will follow in Msgr. Gleason Hall when plans for a Day of Recollection in March and a card party in April will be discussed.
The pastor, the Rev. Thomas Farley, will be the speaker on his recent trip to the Holy Land. Nicole LaBonte will be in charge of dessert and coffee. All women of the parish are invited.
Insurance program
AUBURN – The National Association of Insurance Women-Androscoggin Valley will meet Wednesday, Feb. 9, at Gipper’s Sports Grill, 120 Center St. The meeting will begin with a social hour at 5 p.m. The program will be presented by Betsy Pratt of the Hartford Agency on behalf of “Classy Lady.”
The National Association of Insurance Women (International) is an association of insurance professionals dedicated to the development of leaders in the insurance industry.

La Leche League
AUBURN – All pregnant women and nursing mothers are welcome to attend a La Leche League meeting at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 10, at 102 Bennett Ave. Babies are welcome.
