• Jan. 24 – The Oxford County district attorney’s office referred a case of unlawful sexual touching, allegedly done to a Rumford girl under the age of 15, to Detective Sgt. Stacy Carter.

Arrests

All of the following are to be arraigned on March 1 in Rumford District Court:

• Anthony K. Heath, 18, of Bethel, on a warrant for aggravated assault, at 10:20 a.m. Feb. 1 on Congress Street. He was released to Oxford County jail staff.

• Joseph Mailman, 18, of Portland, on a charge of failure to give a correct name and address, at 10:50 p.m. Jan. 30 on Maine Avenue. He was released on personal recognizance.

• Michael Moore, 20, of Rumford, on a warrant for failure to pay fine, at 2:18 a.m. Jan. 29 on Lincoln Avenue. He was released on bail.

• Jonathan Salvas, 21, of Rumford, on a warrant for failure to pay fine, at 7:19 p.m. Jan. 28 on Waldo Street. He was released on $49 cash bail.

• Brian Freeman, 25, of Rumford, on a charge of operating under the influence, at 1:28 a.m. Jan. 27 on Route 108. He was released on $700 unsecured bail.

• Leslie Miller, 39, of Rumford, on a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of negotiating a worthless instrument, at 9:50 a.m. Jan. 24 on Hartford Street. She was taken to Oxford County jail in Paris.

• Bryan E. Worthley, 31, of Rumford, on charges of operating under the influence and operating after suspension, at 11:45 p.m. Jan. 22. He was released on $800 unsecured bail.

• Angela Browning, 31, of Rumford, on charges of operating without a license and illegal attachment of plates, at 3:55 p.m. Jan. 20 on Railroad Street. She was released on $100 unsecured bail.

• Kalinda Day, 37, of Rumford, on a warrant for failure to pay a fine, at 8 a.m. Jan. 20 on Maine Avenue. She was released on $113 cash bail.
