During his second inauguration, President Bush blathered a lot about exporting freedom and democracy around the world. His agenda for the next four years is to wage war abroad and consolidate a police state at home. His concept of a democratic republic more nearly resembles such wonderful countries as Russia and China.

Indications are that we will wage an international crusade against tyranny through either armed invasion or subversion.

Back in America, this administration wants to set up a super-intelligence agency as well as to centralize totalitarian police state power in the Department of Homeland Security. All of this while the administration has selectively suspended the right of habeas corpus, questioned whether torture is acceptable and wants to try people for war crimes by military tribunal.

Our country is fast becoming a fascist police state. It is time for Americans to wake up.
