LEWISTON – Alecia Daigle and Matthew Blair were married at noon on Aug. 28 at St. Joseph’s Church in Lewiston. The Rev. Michael Seavey officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Blair is the daughter of Stephen Daigle and Lorene Boutot and the stepdaughter of Roderick Boutot. Mr. Blair is the son of James and Cheryl Blair of Norton, Mass.
The bride was escorted to the altar by her father, Stephen Daigle. Both the bridegroom’s father and the bride’s stepfather gave the Mass readings.
The maid of honor was Lindsay St. Pierre, close friend and college classmate. Bridesmaids were Kristen Blair, the bridegroom’s sister, and Sabrina Longo, close friend. Elizabeth Walek, close friend, was junior bridesmaid
The best man was Nicholas Blair, the bridegroom’s brother. Groomsmen were Joseph Hillman, Chris Henson, Nick Longo and William Walek, close friends. Shannon Daigle, the bride’s brother, brought the Mass offerings
The reception was held at Martindale Country Club in Auburn. The honeymoon was a week-long cruise via the Norwegian Majesty to Bermuda.
The bride grew up in Lewiston and graduated from St. Dominic Regional High School in 1998 and went on to Simmons College in Boston. She graduated from Simmons College in 2002 with a bachelor’s degree in communications, English literature and secondary education. She currently works at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in the Department of Communications as intranet editor (Boston).
The bridegroom grew up in Norton, Mass., and graduated from Bishop Feehan High School in 1997. He also graduated from Northeastern University in 2002, with a bachelor’s degree in math and physics. He is a soldier in the 82nd (Airborne) Signal Battalion, U.S. Army.
