LEWISTON – The wedding of Stephanie Ashley Fontaine and Christopher Michael Baillargeon was held at 5 p.m. on July 17 at the Bates College Chapel. The Rev. Donald Cougle officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Baillargeon is the daughter of Stephen and Lorraine Fontaine of Lewiston. Mr. Baillargeon is the son of Robert and Susan Baillargeon of Lewiston.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a strapless antique white gown with beaded bodice, A-line skirt and train. She also wore a Cathedral length veil and tiara, both detailed with Austrian crystals and she carried a bouquet of Calla lilies and pink roses.

Shana Fontaine, sister of the bride, attended as maid of honor and bridesmaids were Amanda Boyle and Rebecca Boyle, cousins of the bride. Alexa Poulin, friend of the bride, was flower girl.

A brother of the bridegroom, Rick Baillargeon, served as best man and ushers were Ryan Fitzpatrick, Rob McGuirk and Matt Mann, friends of the bridegroom. Devon Lavoie, friend of the bridegroom, was the ring bearer.

A reception followed at Spring Meadows, after which the couple traveled to Caesar’s in the Pocono Mountains. They are residing in Lewiston.

The bride is a 2001 graduate of Lewiston High School and is employed as an accountant at Albin, Randall and Bennett in Lewiston.

The bridegroom is a 2001 graduate of Lewiston High School and a 2002 graduate of the U.S. Marine Corp. boot camp. He is employed as a postal carrier at the Lisbon Post Office.
