OAK HARBOR, MASS. – Germaine Paradis, 72, of Oak Harbor and formerly of Danvers, Mass., died Friday, Feb. 4, at her residence.

She was born Jan. 9, 1933, to the late Frank E. and Leonie A. (Sotereou) Bilodeau in Lewiston. She was a high school graduate.

On July 25, 1953, she married Roland R. Paradis, who preceded her in death on July 3, 1998. She retired from the Danvers School System as the Director of the School Lunch Program. She was a member of St. Mary’s Enunciation Church in Danvers, Mass. She enjoyed gardening and being a member of the “Y” in her hometown where she liked to swim.

Survivors include son, Daniel Paradis of Phoenix, Ariz.; daughters, Debbie (Jean) Beaulieu of LaGrange, Ga., Cece (Steve) Henry of Oak Harbor, Ohio; sisters, Lorraine Combs of West Columbia, S.C., and Constance Lessard of Old Orchard; grandchildren, Joe and Kim Beaulieu, Cherie Zurawski, Amanda and Kristen Henry, and Christian Paradis; and great- grandchildren, Jared Beaulieu, Grace and Karlee Zurawski.
