LEWISTON – Constance L. Myrand, 81, a resident of 24 Perley St., died Monday morning at her residence following a long illness.

She was born in Lewiston, Feb. 24, 1923, the daughter of Edmond and Lydia (Levesque) Leblanc. She attended Lewiston schools, and was a 1941 graduate of Lewiston High School. She was also a member of Holy Family Church, the Ladies of St. Ann, and a former Girl Scout Leader.

She enjoyed traveling, reading, and was dedicated most of her life to taking care of her family. She was a loving daughter, wife, and mother.

Survivors include two daughters, Jeanne Young of Ogunquit, and Martha Griffen and her husband, Rick, of Kennebunkport; two sons, John and Peter Myrand, both of Lewiston; one brother, Vincent Leblanc of Sabattus; and also three grandchildren, Lydia and Alexis Griffin, and Vincent Myrand.

She was predeceased by her husband, John G. Myrand, in December 1995.
