LEWISTON – Club W!, a free membership program for women of all ages, is launching a special event for their youngest members. Club W! offers programs to help keep women wise, well and whole.
“It’s Great to be a Girl,” a special program for young women in grades kindergarten through five, will be offered at 6 p.m. Saturday, March 19, at the Lepage Conference Center, 99 Campus Ave.
Those wishing can join Club W! in a celebration of life, love and laughter with a daughter, granddaughter, niece, sister, godchild or friend. There will be arts and crafts, a dress-up show, a goofy hairdo contest, manicures, facials, karaoke and bellydancing.
There will be a chance to win prizes, connect with other women and girls and spend time together. Light refreshments will be served. Cost is $35 a pair. Every little girl must be accompanied by an adult.
