Seeds of Peace from the Lewiston Middle School and Lewiston High School came together at their small booth at the Many and One coalition’s second annual congregation to celebrate community diversity. At the entrance, donations were taken, tee-shirts were given away and a long line of people stood waiting for refreshments. The Seeds of Peace handed out pamphlets, took donations, and conversed with passers-by at their booth. They later made a small announcement on stage about the upcoming events that have been planned by Seeds.

The Lewiston Middle School Civil Rights Team was also at the event. They performed a skit that explained diversity and the controversial issues that have been caused by it throughout history. As they returned to their seats, they handed out bookmarks with original poetry written by the team’s members.
