LIVERMORE FALLS – Rita M. Porter, a care support nurse for Franklin Memorial Hospital’s new Martha B. Webber Breast Care Center, is now seeing patients at FMH Outpatient Services in Livermore Falls from 9 a.m. to noon on the third Monday of each month.

Porter educates and guides women through the screening, diagnosis and breast cancer treatment process, and can personally assist women and their families who face a diagnosis of breast cancer.

Any woman with an interest in learning more about breast health is invited to drop by to speak with Porter on Monday, Feb. 21.

“My role,” Porter said, “is to help make breast health a seamless process for the patient, from the moment their primary doctor schedules a mammogram, to prompt follow-up radiological testing, and to support those who are undergoing cancer treatment.”

For appointments or more information, people may contact Porter at 779-2430. Appointments can also be made by calling FMH Outpatient Services at 897-2600.
