I am so concerned about hunting on Sundays. I am an avid hiker of the local woods. Hiking and using the woods in Maine is difficult during bug season, so I look forward to the fall.

Hunting season takes up the best season to be out. It is getting hard to find places in the wild to hike where there is public access without hunting. Even state parks allow hunting.

I look forward to Sunday and again having access to the beauty and serenity of the Maine wilderness. It seems the hunters get six of the seven days. It is unfair to those of us who want to have a safe and quiet time of our own.

Has anyone considered what impact it would have on those who come up to see the color and experience nature, without hunting? It could have a big impact on the non-hunting tourism as well.
