Amanda Baillargeon, daughter of Leo and Gail Baillargeon of Lewiston, has achieved the dean’s list at Endicott College in Beverly, Mass., with a 3.82 grade point average for the fall semester.

She is a junior studying elementary education and has done internships at Farwell Elementary, Gov. James B. Longley Elementary and St. Peter and Sacred Heart schools.

Baillargeon is an active member of the Endicott Community. She is the College Buddy director of Best Buddies Endicott, which is a nonprofit organization that pairs college students for a one-to-one friendship with people who have intellectual disabilities.

She is also a member of the Endicott College Leadership Advisory Committee, where students work with faculty and administration to make a difference on campus and to build stronger leadership.

She is also involved with the Education Club, a community service organization. She is also a member of the Education FES mentoring program where she teaches under -privileged children about college awareness and the aspirations of global learning.

Baillargeon has a part-time job at a before- and after-school program and helps with Special Olympics.

She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cyrille Baillargeon of Lewiston and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Lagasse.
