LEWISTON – Miss Lena Francis Baumer, 94, formerly of Baumer Street, Lisbon Falls, died Wednesday, Feb. 9, at Montello Manor in Lewiston.

She was born in Lisbon Falls, June 7, 1910, the daughter to Alex and Anna Meyer Baumer. She attended Lisbon Falls schools and graduated from Lisbon Falls High School, Class of 1928. She later attended Powder Puff Beauty School in Lewiston.

She was self-employed, having owned and operated Lee’s Beauty Shop in Lisbon Falls. She was a parishioner of Holy Trinity Church in Lisbon, and a member of the Lisbon Senior Citizens, and the Durham Senior Citizens.

She is survived by one brother, Anton “Tony” Baumer and his wife, Therese, of Lewiston.

She was predeceased by two brothers, Alex and Joseph Baumer; and two sisters, Marguerite Senior and Theresa Proctor.
