WINDHAM – Lorraine M. Brady, 74, passed away at home on Feb. 10, after a long battle with cancer, with her loving husband and family at her side.
She was born on July 31, 1930, in Bridgeport, Conn., and was the daughter of Edward and Catherine Dubord. She was a longtime resident of Lewiston and recently moved to South Windham.
She worked to support her family for many years in Connecticut and Maine and retired from Supreme Slipper of Lewiston in 1992.
She lived a full life and will always be remembered by friends and family as a feisty, strong-willed, loving person with a passion for bingo and a sense of humor through all the hard times until the very end. She will be missed and forever loved by those she touched.
She is survived by her best friend and husband of 17 years, Robert Brady; her children, Glenda Siok of Waterbury, Conn., Anntonette Mandolfo of Seymore, Conn., Lorrie Libby of South Windham, and Dominick Mandolfo of Alexandria, La.; and four stepchildren, Marlene Vodola of Orlando, Fla., Robert Brady Jr. of Tampa, Fla., Dawn McCready of West Haven, Conn., and Robin Boxwell of Milford, Conn. Lorraine was also blessed with 11 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and three beloved nieces, Pam, Nancy and Cindy.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Benjamin Mandolfo; a son, Richard Mandolfo; and her only sister, Ella May Russin, of Connecticut.
