AUBURN – Kyle Gregory has been hired as director of marketing for World Harbors Inc., producer of bold cooking sauces and marinades and distributor of the world-renowned Angostura Bitters.

Gregory will be responsible for conducting market research, developing effective market plans for products and interacting with the sales department to implement marketing programs and strategies to develop both the World Harbors and Angostura brands.

Prior to coming to World Harbors, Gregory led marketing efforts at NR&C Co. in Portland, where he was responsible for developing NR&C’s new brand identity and launching its first national marketing and advertising campaign. From 2001-2004, he co-founded Shoestring Creative Group, a full-service graphic design, marketing and public relations firm where he directed the “Get real. Get Maine!” marketing campaign for Maine’s food and farm industry.

Gregory earned a bachelor of arts degree in communications studies from the University of Kansas in 1994 and a master’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in marketing management from Avila University in 1999. He resides in Gardiner with his wife, Hannah, and sons Camden and Ethan.
