CONCORD, N.H. (AP) – A man suspected of robbing a gas station was arrested after leading police on a foot chase downtown.
Gordon Reid, 44, of Roslindale, Mass., was charged with robbery, criminal threatening and resisting arrest.
Police said he robbed a Hess station at gunpoint around 9 p.m. Sunday. Just as the robbery was being reported, two officers were around the corner investigating a suspicious car parked outside the Merrimack County courthouse.
Suspecting the car belonged to the robber, the officers began searching the area. They spotted the suspect near the Holiday Inn across the street and chased him through downtown, finally arresting him at gunpoint.
Deborah Poirier, 45, of Manchester, who was in the parked car, was charged with conspiracy to commit robbery.
