WEST PARIS – Kevin James Behan, 56, of West Paris, died at his residence Feb. 13. He was born in Quincy, Mass., on Nov. 14, 1948, the son of Phillip and Margaret (Bouldac) Behan and attended Quincy schools.

He was a United States Marine veteran of the Vietnam War, and had worked as a machinist most of his life until he became disabled. He loved to play guitar, camping, canoeing, motorcycling, and snowshoeing. He married Margaret Czupryna on June 30, 1972. His wife and children were his life. He was also a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses of Norway.

He is survived by his wife of West Paris; son, Keith Behan and his wife, Nichole, of Madison, N.H.; two brothers, John Behan of Carver, Mass., and Robert Behan of Nevada, Calif.; one sister, Mary (O’Mara) Littler of Norwell, Mass.; and two grandchildren, Brandon James Behan of Tuftonboro, N.H., and Izabella Rose Behan of Madison N.H.

He was predeceased by his parents; and one brother, Dennis Behan.
