FARMINGTON – Three area mushers performed well at Sunday’s Farmington Sled Dog Race sanctioned by the International Sled Dog Racing Association.

Betsy McGettigan of Norway, earned top honors in the Adult 4 Dog Speed Class with a time of 00:29:36 for the 8-mile course. She also finished third in the Adult 1 Dog Speed Class, completing the 12-mile course with a total time of 00:50:46.

Jeff Brannen of Poland, captured the title in the Adult 2 Dog Speed Class with a clocking of 00:42:33 for the 12-mile race.

Heather Brannen of Poland, was third in the Adult 4 Dog Speed Class with a time of 00:30:46 for the 8-mile course; and third in the Adult 2 Dog Speed Class with a time of 00:50:38 for the 12-mile event.
