LEWISTON – Susan E. Hamilton, 44, of 40 Bartlett St., died unexpectedly but peacefully Tuesday morning, Feb. 15, at her home following a long battle with diabetes.

She was born in Lewiston, on Dec. 11, 1960, the daughter of Robert W. and Dolores P. (Petru) Hamilton. She attended schools in Auburn, and was a graduate of Edward Little High School, Class of 1978. She worked for Etonics Shoe, Hamilton and Son, L.L. Bean, and Tambrands.

She is survived by her mother, Dolores P. Hamilton of Auburn; her brothers, Michael Hamilton of Auburn, and Scott Hamilton and his fiancee, Pat Milton, of Mechanic Falls; her aunt and uncle, Marilyn and David Higgins of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her father Robert W. Hamilton; her maternal grandparents, Ann and Stanley Petru; and by her paternal grandparents, Clayton and Lila Hamilton.
