LEWISTON – Evelee T. Cook, 93, a resident of Turner Center Road, Turner, died early Wednesday morning at Central Maine Medical Center, following a short illness.

She was born in Vassalboro, Jan. 13, 1912, the daughter of Verne and Emma Taylor Denico.

She was a 1930 graduate of Erskine Academy in South China, and had been employed with Turner Rug Co.

Mrs. Cook was a member of the Turner Village Church, Pythian Sisters, Turner Grange No. 23, and the Turner Senior Citizens.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Therman (Shirley) Loubier of Rochester, N.H.; and Leota Austin of Turner; and one sister, Leota Seaward, of Turner. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Everard Cook, who died June 29, 1987; and one daughter, Dorothy L. Conant.
