OXFORD – The Oxford County Soil and Water Conservation District is selling trees, shrubs and trout again this year.
Those wishing can visit the office to pick up a brochure or call 743-5789, ext. 3, to have one mailed. The district can take orders until March 25 for trees and shrubs. Pick-up date will be from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 7, at Crystal Spring Farm.
The district also has trout for sale to put in a pond. Order forms and stocking permits are available at the office, 1570 Main St., Suite 10. The last day to order trout is May 6.
The trout will be delivered at the office at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 11. The district will not be responsible for any trout not picked up by 2 p.m. Those receiving the fish must have their permit from Augusta with them.
