BRISTOL, CONN. – Armand A. Paradis, 89, of Bristol, Conn., husband of Blanche (Taillon) Paradis, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Feb. 9, at the Sub-Acute Center, Forestville, Conn.
Armand was born in St. Helene de Brickeville, Canada, on Aug. 16, 1915, a son of the late Joseph and Delvina (Guay) Paradis.
He lived in Bristol most of his life and prior to retiring, he was employed at Pratt and Whitney Aircraft in Southington. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II, and was a member of St. Ann Church in Bristol.
Survivors include his wife; a stepson, Rene Leroux of Plainville, Conn.; a stepdaughter, Irene LeBlanc of Burlington, Conn.; brothers and sisters, Roland Paradis, Pauline Faucher and Armande Goudreau, all of Lewiston, Delia Paradis of Rumford, and Aurore Foisy of Auburn; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
