RUMFORD – A Community Networking Meeting is scheduled for noon Thursday, Feb. 24, at Scrappers DoMaine on Canal Street. There will be peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, cookies and drinks available, or people can bring their lunches. Staff from Scrappers DoMaine will speak about their programs, accommodations and plans for a “scrapmobile.” There will also be updates on other organizations’ community activities, including programs of the Healthy Communities. The meeting is open to the public and everyone is invited to attend, organizers said. More information may be obtained by calling the River Valley Healthy Communities Coalition at 364-7408.
