WALES – A Litchfield girl, whose name is not being released, was transported to Central Maine Medical Center early Monday morning after the stolen car she was driving crashed in Wales, said Deputy Robert True. At the hospital, she was treated and released.
True said the girl failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of Wheeler Hill and Eastern Drive, and slammed into a utility pole. The 1996 Pontiac, owned by Troy Theberge of Litchfield, was demolished in the 4:10 a.m. mishap, True said.
