AUBURN – Aurora Gauthier, 91, of Minot Avenue, died Feb. 19, at Clover Manor.

She was born in Willimantic, Conn., Jan. 10, 1914, the daughter of Hector T. and Marie Rose Garceau Gauthier.

She attended schools in Connecticut, and later graduated from Lewiston High School. She was employed at Knapp Shoe as a payroll clerk for many years, and was a member of St. Louis Church in Auburn. She also enjoyed reading.

She is survived by a brother, Arthur Gauthier of Buckfield; and a niece, nephew, and a great-nephew.

She was predeceased by a brother, Albert Gauthier; and a sister, Andrea Gauthier.
