LEWISTON – Funeral services for Mrs. Berube were held Thursday morning at Holy Cross Church, following prayers at the Albert and Burpee Funeral Home. Officiating was Bishop Joseph J. Gerry, OSB and co-celebrants were the Rev. Daniel Greenleaf, the Rev. Paul LaBree, the Rev. Paul Pare, the Rev. Frank Murray and the Rev. Benedict Guevin, OSB. Interment was at St. Peter’s Cemetery, where Bishop Joseph recited prayers of committal with the Rev. Daniel Greenleaf. Pallbearers were Andrew Roy, Tony Roy, Herve Gendreau, Alphee Grenier, Francis Boulanger and Normand Chabot. Eulogies were said by Gov. John Baldacci, Sen. John Martin, her son, Claude Gerard Berube and her daughter, Michele O’Hara.
