NORTHFIELD, N.H. (AP) – A church volunteer charged with sexual assault and theft will be returned to the state after a hearing next week, authorities said Friday.

Scott Nash, 46, of Northfield, was arrested Wednesday at Kennedy Airport in New York as he got off a flight from Aruba.

He is charged with molesting three young girls who are members of Trinity Episcopal Church in Tilton and taking more than $5,000 from the church.

Church officials said Nash was a youth minister and had been with the church about five years.

He has waived extradition and will return to New Hampshire after a hearing March 4, Northfield Police said.
