LEWISTON – Constance C. Doyon, 70, of 30 Cram Ave., died Saturday evening, Feb. 26, at Ste. Marguerite d’Youville Pavilion.
She was born in Lewiston, April 5, 1934, the daughter of Ernest and Alberta Pelletier Anctil. She was educated in local schools and was employed as a nurses’ aide at Central Maine Medical Center for 16 years, and later at d’Youville Pavilion for one year prior to her retirement.
She was a member of Holy Family Parish and the Ladies of St. Ann Sodality. She also did volunteer work for Covenant 50 and SeniorsPlus.
She enjoyed crocheting afghans and playing cards.
She is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth Cantin and her husband, David, of Lewiston; two sons, Gerard Doyon and his wife, Lisa, of Wallops Island, Va., and Dennis Doyon and his girlfriend, Jeanne Pelletier, of Lewiston; a brother, Robert Anctil of Lewiston; and three grandchildren, Angela, Joshua and Rachel; and a great-grandson, Demetrious.
