LEWISTON – The International Students Organization of Lewiston-Auburn and the Religious Studies Concentration (Arts and Humanities) at USM/Lewiston-Auburn will sponsor a discussion from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, March 4, titled “The Concept of the Messiah,” with Rabbi Hillel Katzir.

Katzir is the spiritual leader at Temple Shalom in Auburn. The event is open to all who are interested and will be held in Room 105 at USM/L-A, 51 Westminster St.

It will be a “brown bag” lunch with shared cookies and cider and will feature a discussion about starting a Hebrew conversational group, open to beginners and advanced learners alike, that will be led by Katzir.
