LEWISTON – The city of Lewiston has extended its parking ban through 7 a.m. today. Vehicles parked in violation of this ban will be subject to towing at the owner’s expense, according to the city.

Minot voters can meet candidates

MINOT – The Community Club will hold its annual “Meet the Candidates Night” at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 2, in the Minot Consolidated School gymnasium.

This year there is only one municipal board position being contested, as Lisa Cesare and Lisa Sabatine-Bridgham vie for the seat on the School Committee currently held by Christopher Woodford.

Lawmakers to be available at mall

LEWISTON – Local state legislators will hold their monthly office hours at the Lewiston Mall from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 5.

Lawmakers will be available to answer questions on any topic related to state government and services.

The delegation holds regular office hours on the first Saturday of every month during the legislative session in an effort to ensure accessibility to its constituents.

The time is intended for constituents to consult with their state representatives on questions about state government, services available to them, bills being considered in the Legislature and any other concerns they may have.
