I am endorsing William “Bill” Henshaw in his run for Sabattus Board of Selectmen.

He is an active member of our community, retired from the printing business after 40 years. He and his wife have been married for 52 years and raised six children. He knows the value of a dollar.

He is a veteran of the U.S. Army who served honorably in the Korean War and was awarded the Purple Heart.

He volunteers as a Veterans Affairs van driver, making sure our veterans get medical care.

He is concerned about our schools. He wants to work toward making sure that our children have the best education without an unreasonable property tax burden.

He will work to improve Sabattus Pond to protect it for future generations.

We need William Henshaw as our selectman. He will be a voice of reason and fiscal responsibility on the board.

Amedeo J. Lauria, Sabattus
